Mr. Atwood resides in Shawnee with his children Kaitlyn and Carson. Nick Atwood, a native of Shawnee, Oklahoma, graduated from Shawnee High School in 1997 and obtained his Bachelor of Science Degree from Saint Mary's University in 2001. He received his Juris Doctor degree from Oklahoma City University School of Law in 2008 and was admitted to practice law in Oklahoma.

Mr. Atwood focuses on general litigation, property, eminent domain, business, municipal, estate, employment, family, and tribal law. He is licensed in Oklahoma state courts and the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma. He previously served in Governor Brad Henry's administration and the Oklahoma Department of Transportation.
